The garden at Coombe Farm has slowly evolved over the 35 years we have called this place home.
Nestled around our 125-year-old homestead it has grown into a whimsical country garden filled with heritage roses and perennials, a little wayward, but at their very best in late spring. Surrounded by farmland, the garden is woven together by a creek that winds gently, for most of the year, through the property. A peaceful bush walk meanders alongside the creek, leading to a small waterfall and providing respite to all on those hot blowie nor-west summer days. There is a loose vegetable garden with its potting shed, along with a newly created native dell designed to attract and support our local bird life. This is a garden that has grown slowly, season by season, reflecting our love of gardening and a deep respect for the surrounding landscape.
