This mid-sized country garden, mostly on level ground, contains informal mixed perennial borders, a small wildlife pond, and more fruit and vegetable beds than needed but filled every season. The garden was started in the spring of 2020, set around converted farm buildings dating from 1873, above the Barry’s Bay Stream. Repurposed materials have been used to construct the garden, from a truck deck to a propagation shed, a silo to a sculpture and planters, pipework from the dairy shed to a fruit cage plus much more.
